Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the returns platform handles, why it handles it and how it is protected. It covers two groups of people: brands that use the platform, and shoppers who start a return with those brands.
1. Our two roles
For brand account data, such as the name and email of the people who log in, we decide how the data is used. For shopper data that passes through a brand's return portal, the brand decides how the data is used and we process it on the brand's instructions.
2. Data we handle
- Brand account data: names, work emails, roles, store details and billing details.
- Order and return data: order numbers, products, sizes, prices, return reasons, notes and photos added by shoppers.
- Shopper contact and pickup data: name, phone, email and pickup address needed to book a reverse pickup.
- Refund details: UPI IDs or bank account details entered for cash on delivery refunds. Card details are never seen or stored by us; card refunds go through the brand's payment gateway.
- Warehouse data: quality check photos, grades and notes added by warehouse staff.
- Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type and pages used, kept for security and to fix problems.
3. How the data is used
- To run returns, exchanges, pickups, grading and refunds for the brand.
- To send status updates to shoppers on the brand's behalf.
- To produce return reason analysis and reports for that brand only.
- To secure the platform, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
A brand's return data is used to serve that brand. It is not used to train models for any other brand, and personal data is never sold.
4. AI and automated flags
The AI Return Reason Analyst groups reasons and may flag unusual return patterns. Flags are shown to the brand's team for review. The platform does not make decisions that block a shopper on its own; any action is taken by a person at the brand.
5. Sharing
Data is shared only as needed to run a return: with the courier booked for a pickup, with the brand's payment gateway or licensed payout partner for a refund, with the brand's store platform and warehouse systems, and with hosting and messaging providers bound by confidentiality terms. Data may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
6. Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside the platform is controlled by roles set by each brand. Refund details are masked after use, and access to them is logged.
7. Retention
Return records are kept while the brand's account is active and for the period the brand sets, subject to tax and accounting rules. When a brand closes its account, its data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days unless the law requires longer storage.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Shoppers should first contact the brand they bought from, since the brand controls their return data; we will help the brand respond. Brand users can write to us through the Returns Desk.
9. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed to run forms and security checks. The return portal uses session cookies to keep a return request in progress. No advertising cookies are set.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, brands with an active account will be told by email before the change applies.
